OUR PROGRAMS
TONG WELL-BEING HUB
Tong well-being hub is part of a district wide network of well-being hubs that work together to help improve the health and mental well-being of Bradford residents. The hub provides welfare advice, 1-2-1 support for those who have suffered domestic violence, offer support with alcohol and substance misuse, as well as providing fitness classes, baby massage, first aid classes and much more.
To use the hub you need to be referred. This can be done by a GP, health professional, community work or by self referral. The referral form is attached here and can be sent to twb@thesuttoncentre.co.uk or you can call 01274 668881 for more information.
HOME PROJECT
Our HOME project was created in 2019 using feedback from our community consultation that parents and families needed support. There is plenty of activities for children and young people but the community felt that for parents something was missing. Our HOME project is all about creating healthy households. This is done through stay and plays, parenting courses, baby massage as well as providing activities and trips for families to play together.
INCREASING WEALTH
Increasing wealth in the area has always been an aim of the centre since we first opened the doors. To really help our community thrive we want to do as much as we can to increase wealth in the area. This is done through providing training and employment support for residents as well as welfare advice for those who need it. We actively support local businesses as well as help local people develop their own businesses.
